Photos in digital form will generally carry the "copyright" tag within them, and everything will generally have a visible copyright statement, but even if some of our content does not have these markers, it is still copyrighted. We repeat: all content we produce is copyrighted.

Unless otherwise stated, personal use of our content is OK as long as we're credited. (If you're really into some of our stuff, consider donating.) All other use requires a written license from us: send email to licensing at kodachi dot com, explain what you want to do, and we'll talk.

So, for example, if you love one of our photos:

• Using it on your computer desktop is fine.
• Printing an 8x10 of it to stick on your desk is fine.
• Printing a huge poster of it for your dorm room is fine (though it'll probably look terrible).
• Using it to promote your band is not fine.
• Selling it is not fine.

If you have any doubt about whether what you have in mind is "personal use", contact us, we'll work it out.

As far as crediting us goes, we're not looking for anything too crazy here. For prints of things that have a visible copyright marker, just make sure that the marker is visible. For things like web pages, link to us from your credits page, or put the info in the alternate image text, or something. If people ask you in person, tell 'em where you got the image. No big deal.

All in all, just be reasonable. It's our work, but if it makes your life better to have it on your desktop or by your bed, glad to be of help.
